Cuzco

Hi every one i hope you are all well upon reading this message. I am in Cuzco and it is totally different from Lima which is the capital. I am about 6000km above sea level and believe me you can feel the effects. I have had to slow down in everything i do otherwise i become short of breath. Cuzco is very mountainous and the roads here are very very hilly. I find just walking up steps in the street is really hard work. I consider myself to be very fit and i am having difficulties walking around.

My plan is to see Macchu Picchu and move on. I can't see myself being here for very long, it's not my kinda town. I want to move onto Bolivia. The communication up here comes and goes so don't worry if you don't here from me for a couple of days, as soon as it returns i will update you all.

Your man in South America not feeling great at the moment but still fighting through.

Your description re the impact of the high altitude sounds very uncomfortable; take time to acclimatize ahead of the mountain trails etc
Keep safe
